The playgroup was opened by Janet Binnersely in 1972, who ran it for round 40 years earlier than retiring.
Janet’s granddaughter, Morgan Binnersley, took it over in 2019.
The playgroup goes to rejoice its fiftieth anniversary in September.
Morgan mentioned: “I took over Wilson Road Playgroup.
“It was very near my grandma’s coronary heart.
“The playgroup was going to be shut down as a consequence of nobody having the ability to run it anymore.
“It introduced nice disappointment to my grandma and I needed to alter that and make her proud so I took over the playgroup to proceed my grandma’s legacy.

Since its inception, lots of of pre-school youngsters have loved the group.
Morgan added: “We invite all previous, current and future attendees to hitch us within the celebrations.

The playgroup gives kids with the chance to develop kids’s interacting abilities, sharing abilities and enjoying abilities in a much less structured surroundings than a nursery.
